Preschool PeopleWondering what to do to occupy your preschool age child today?
The ideas are numerous.
Play hide and seek with shapes. Hide a plastic round plate, colorful triangle, square and rectangle. Have child hide all shapes and parent finds the objects.
The activity can be extended by child and parent to trace and cut out shapes. All shapes then can be made into a mobile that could hang anywhere in the home.
Post important, have fun and cherish the time you have with your child.

Children at an early age, should begin to develop the strength in their hands and fingers. By doing this, it will start the process of writing, cutting and creative drawings. The development of this process will only benefit the child to a great beginning in his or her education. Using play dough is a great tool to increase the strength in a child’s hand and fingers. Rolling and forming shapes will certainly be a fun way to begin the learning process. Other tools would be to let the child under adult direction, paint with a large handle paint brush. After drying, help the child to cut the picture into sections and then glue the pieces back together to create the original picture. Have fun and always enjoy your child.
