My ambition, even as a young third grader, was to become a teacher. God enlightened the path of my teaching career. I am so thankful for this exceptional blessing.

I retired from being a elementary school teacher on June 30, 2002. I taught for 32 years at the Fonda-Fultonville Central School in New York State. Most of my teaching was in Kindergarten, but I also taught first and second grade. My favorite was indeed the little beginners in Kindergarten. As I instructed them, they enlightened me.

Because of so many remarkable and memorable experiences, Buzzin’ With Buzzy came to be. My book describes my career as an elementary school teacher. It narrates some of my techniques in accomplishing the many duties of a teacher. The book will also express the love I have for my students. My teaching was filled with inspiration and motivation.

I am most appreciative to have been a member of the faculty and staff at this elementary school. Together we melded our personalities and talents to create great benefit for our many students. We succeeded.

Thank you to my colleagues and to this school district for the opportunity given to me as a new teacher, many years ago. Teacher for 32 years Walmart teacher of the Year - 2001
